The visual artist Paula Rindborg was born in Rio
de Janeiro in 1974. She has always had a great
interest in art, literature and culture. She is
graduated in literature from the Federal
University of Rio de Janeiro. Upon graduation she
moved abroad. In Ecuador she discovered her great
passion for the visual arts. She started painting
at the atelier of the visual artist and architect
Luiz Mancheno in 1998. 
She continued to paint intensively also during the
year that she lived in Sweden where she attended
some courses and realized her first individual
exhibition. She returned to Brazil and took for
some time a break of the canvases and brushes.
Instead she dedicated herself to marketing and in
2001 she got a MBA in this area. But after all
this was not her passion and in the beginning of
2003 she decided to return to the art with full
power, dedicating herself to creation, to learning
and to organization of and participation in
cultural events. 
In April 2004 she moved to Sweden again where she
continued working with art. Additionally she
studied Illustration and Graphic Design. In August
2005, after an individual exhibition in Gamla
Stan, Stockholm, Paula moved to Guayaquil, in
Ecuador where she had her atelier and worked
intensively for one year. During this period she
did some exhibitions in Brazil and a paint course
in La Coppe sur Loup, in France. After some months
in Brazil Paula Rindborg is living again in Sweden
and developing her work with art and cultural
production.
